This Owl has his Eyes wide open! He is looking for food. I need my Owls in the area, their Eyes and Ears wide open too. Owls help to keep the vermin population down. I for one would like more owls near my home. I live between an Open Space (no building allowed) and a creek with a levy and the San Pablo Bay to my East. My wildlife quotient is very high. My rat population is high. I have worked on it. You would not believe the damage a bunch of Rats or Squirrels can do in an Attic! Plus I just got a Gopher in my Front Lawn! My telephone poll is an evening roost for an Owl. I wish I had night vision goggles to see the Owls and the rest of the wildlife moving about.
